Saturday, November 14, 2026

100% of your ticket becomes credit toward your estate plan.

Come with your vision. Leave with a Blueprint for legacy. Brunch included.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR THE BUILDERS

If you have young or adult children, a home, or a business — this is for you.

The Family Legacy Blueprint is a workshop for DMV professionals, parents and owners who are ready to stop putting off the planning they know their loved ones need.

This is for you if:

  • You don’t have an estate plan that ensures your family knows what to do if something happens to you tomorrow;
  • You have young children at home and first responders would not know who is their designated caregiver in an emergency;
  • You want to build or extend a legacy for future generations of your family, but it’s not enshrined in legal documents; or
  • You are unsure of what to do, or how to prevent family conflicts that could arise if you are incapacitated or gone.
  • Homeowners

Protect your property and keep it in the family — out of the hands of house flippers who cash in on your equity.

  • Parents

Make sure the right people raise your children if something happens to you.

  • Business Owners

Decide now what happens to what you've built — before someone else does.

  • Legacy Builders

Ensure your family receives what you have earned — dont let them lose it in probate court.

THE COST OF WAITING

D.C., Maryland and Virginia already have a plan for your family.

Instead, come to this workshop to write your own.

Let's talk about the real math.

Without a plan, the court decides everything — who raises your kids, who gets your home, who controls your business. And they charge your family for the privilege.

Probate alone can cost 3–7% of your estate. On a $700,000 home, that's $21,000 to $49,000 leaving your family's hands. Not counting the court time. Not counting the family conflict.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Let's get you clear before you click.

Is this only for wealthy people?

No. If you have people who depend on you — children, a partner, a family — or if you own real estate or other assets like retirement savings, life insurance or collectables, you have something worth protecting. This workshop is for regular people doing extraordinary things for their families.

Do I need to bring documents or paperwork?

Just bring yourself. We provide everything and guide you through every step. You don't need to come prepared — that's what this workshop is for. But, if you want to bring a laptop or review your bank, savings, investment, retirement and insurance accounts in advance, that may help you complete a more precise plan.

Is this a sales pitch in disguise?

No. You leave this workshop with your Blueprint complete. Full stop. If you choose to work with Attorney Wells after, your ticket becomes credit. But you're walking out with real work done either way.

Can I bring my spouse or partner?

Absolutely. If you are married, it is best to come with your spouse (due to the impact of IRS rules), and we are offering $40 off the Early Bird price for your spouse!

I'm single or I don't want to leave anything to my family. Is there a benefit for me to attend?

Yes, especially if you are single or don't have family you want to inherit or trust with key decisions. You need a plan so the state does not end up owning your assets.

I don't live in the DMV. Does this information apply to me?

Yes. Much of what we cover applies across the U.S., and Attorney Wells is in a national Personal Family Lawyer® network and can connect you with attorneys in most states to complete your estate plan.

What if I'm not sure I'm ready?

The state is ready whether you are or not. They already have a plan for your family. This workshop is how you write your own. The best time to do this was yesterday. The next best time is November 14th.

Your legacy isn't what you leave behind. It's what you put in place today.

Come with your vision. Leave with your Blueprint. Let's anchor your family's future — on your terms.

Saturday, November 14, 2026 · Washington, D.C.
Brunch included - Limited Seating.

P.S. Without a plan, the state decides. That means court costs, probate fees, family conflict, and strangers making choices about your children. This workshop is $99. The cost of doing nothing? Ask your family in 10 to 20 years.
