Kristin Wells is an experienced attorney with a distinguished career of over 25 years in which she focused on human rights, immigration, women’s rights and human trafficking in public service and private practice . Recently, she served as General Counsel for the Peace Corps, and her earlier public service legal work included navigating complex legal landscapes and fostering bipartisan collaboration on the Judiciary and Foreign Affairs Committees on Capitol Hill. She also was a partner and associate at two prestigious law firms, Patton Boggs LLP and White and Case LLP. In 2019, Kristin opened her solo practice at Wells Law Firm in her hometown, Washington, D.C.,  focusing on estate planning to meet the evolving needs of families. Kristin is a proud parent of two adult artists, and she is an alumna of Brown University, American University, and Columbia Law School.

I will be your first point of contact - here to help with scheduling, exchanging documents and answering any questions you may have about our estate planning legal services! I am a versatile professional, bringing a blend of personal touch, artistic creativity and analytical insight to our team. After attending Georgetown Day School, I pursued higher education at Temple University where I received a BFA in Dance and Sociology. As a dance teacher, choreographer, and service professional in New York City, I have honed my client service skills by working regularly with families, youth and business owners. With experience in social media and a passion for helping people navigate life’s intricacies, I’m dedicated to supporting your needs with attention to detail and a holistic perspective.
